Charley Pride is known best for his powerful, catchy songs and rich baritone voice since embarking on his chart topping career in the 1960’s. Charley Pride certainly lives up to his last name. He has earned such prestigious awards as the Country Music Association’s Male Vocalist of the year in 1971 and 1972 (alongside Entertainer of the Year), the Academy of Country Music Awards’ 1994 Pioneer Award, the American Music Awards’ 1973, 1976 Favorite Country Male Artist and 1973 Favorite Album for “A Sunshiny Day,” and finally, the Grammy Awards’ 1972 Best Country Vocal Performance, Male. He has also had the distinction of being inducted to the Grand Ole Opry in 1993 and Country Music Hall of Fame in 2000. Pride became part-owner of the Texas Rangers in 2010 further emphasizing his duel loves of music and baseball.

At the Crystal Grand Theatre they love music! The seating is set up so there is not a bad seat in the house. Opened in 1994, the theatre features seating for 2,000 people. The architecture is amazing with beautiful high ceilings and a gorgeous grand staircase. The dedicated staff will make our visit at the Crystal Grand an unforgettable experience.
