Mall of America

Mall of America has been a favorite destination for our Christmas holiday shoppers. Spanning 4.2 million square feet with 520 stores, there is sure to be a store or attraction for you. The anchor stores of Nordstrom, Sears, and Macy’s are only the beginning of your shopping experience. We are going one week earlier than our usual opening of hunting weekend to give shoppers a head start on finding the perfect gift or outfit.

At the Mall of America, bigger is better. During the holiday season, two dozen wreaths are hung throughout the mall – all of them 10 feet in diameter. Giant red ornament bulbs hang from the ceiling, each weighing in at 300 pounds. Big gets even bigger upon visiting the mall’s rotunda to see the Christmas trees. There are two massively decorated Christmas trees – each of which is taller than a four-story building! One of the Mall of America’s main attractions is their Santa. Santa Sid is the most popular Santa in the country.

Bring your children or grandchildren and let them have fun at Nickelodeon theme park which is at the center of Mall of America. This is the only exclusive Nickelodeon Park in the world featuring Nickelodeon characters, shopping and food options. The exhilarating rides of Avatar Airbender, SpongeBob SquarePants, Rock Bottom Plunge or the Splat-OSphere are a few rides that you might want to experience as you take a break from shopping. Don’t forget about Fly Over America. You will feel as if you are truly flying with wind, scents, and mist and other amazing effects.

With a variety of restaurants to choose from, you’re never more than a few minutes from excellent dining at Mall of America. Find delicious options throughout the Mall, including the South Street Dining area where choices from quick serve to sit-down are all found in one convenient location.
